Working with Kayla DesPortes, Ph.D. candidate at Georgia Tech, I have been exploring the concept of value-driven learning. This work originated with ideas that started with my dissertation work on the Glitch Game Testers and was published in Communications of the ACM and titled “From Interest to Values: Computer science is not that difficult but wanting to learn it is.”
